Alphagen Rust Recoil Macro — July 2026 Update & Full Feature Breakdown

Alphagen Rust Recoil Macro's July 2026 Update — faster weapon and scope detection, burst module tracking, ammo reads, one-step hotbar setup, instant weapon updates with no reinstall, two new weapons (M16A2 & Prototype), and a draggable overlay that works across any resolution.

🆕 New & Reworked This Update

Detection Is Faster and More Reliable

Weapon and scope detection are now combined into a single, faster check instead of two separate ones. The app recognizes your weapon and scope quicker after a switch, with far fewer cases of it showing the wrong weapon or holding onto old data.

Scope display now resets the instant you switch weapons instead of briefly showing your previous weapon's scope. Holding nothing — empty hand, no weapon icon — now correctly shows "None" instead of freezing on whatever was there before.

Burst Module Support — Properly Handled

If you run a Burst Module on a weapon, Alphagen Rust Recoil Macro now handles it correctly for every supported gun. Recoil timing and fire rate compensation adjust automatically when a Burst Module is detected, and the app correctly accounts for weapons that get the fire-rate boost from a Burst Module but not the recoil reduction — so you're never over- or under-compensated.

Burst Module detection itself is also fixed — there was a known issue where burst status could get permanently stuck showing "on" or "off" even after adding or removing the module. The app now takes multiple quick readings and uses the strongest signal instead of relying on a single snapshot that could be wrong.

Much More Accurate Ammo Tracking

The app reads your current ammo count directly from the hotbar icon. This is now significantly more accurate — it reads from the exact position of your ammo display within the slot rather than a fixed point that could drift depending on resolution or UI scaling. Fewer misreads, more reliable recoil cutoff when your mag runs dry.

Calibrate Your Hotbar in One Step

Old way: click each of the 6 hotbar slots individually. New way: drag one box over your entire hotbar and the app splits it into 6 slots automatically.

Weapon Updates Are Now Instant — No App Update Required

Previously, whenever we needed to adjust how a weapon behaved — its recoil pattern, fire rate, anything — we had to push a full app update and you had to reinstall or update your copy.

That's gone. All weapon data now lives in a separate file (guns.dat) that sits alongside the main app. When we update a weapon's values, we just send you the new file — you drop it in, and the app picks it up automatically. No reinstalling, no downloading a new version. It's ready to go.

This also means weapon tuning is much faster on our end. If a Rust patch changes how a gun behaves, we can push corrected weapon data to you the same day instead of waiting on a full update cycle.

Two New Weapons: M16A2 and Prototype

Both are now fully supported with accurate recoil compensation, full keybind support, and burst-fire handling.

Overlay Positions Now Work Across All Resolutions

Changing monitor, resolution, or aspect ratio used to mean recalibrating your overlay and hotbar positions. Fixed — positions are now saved as a percentage of your screen size, so they carry over correctly no matter your setup.

The Gun Info Overlay Is Now Draggable

The on-screen readout showing your current weapon, ammo, scope, and burst status can now be repositioned by simply dragging it wherever you want.

One Settings File Instead of Five

Settings, keybinds, slot positions, crosshair, and burst weapon list used to be five separate files. Now it's one config.json — easier to back up and easier to share with support if something goes wrong.

Stability Fixes

  • Crashes from switching weapons quickly during a live session — fixed.

  • Dropdown menus getting out of sync after weapon data changes — fixed.

  • Startup errors from outdated weapon data files no longer crash the app — it falls back cleanly instead.

Performance Fix

  • The Script Recoil compensation method now uses x100 less CPU. Before it was 5-10% When Recoil is getting controlled, now it barely hits 0.2%.

Everything Else Alphagen Rust Recoil Macro Does

Recoil Control

The core of the app. Alphagen Rust Recoil Macro automatically counters the vertical and horizontal kick of your weapon while firing, so your bullets land where you're aiming.

Every fire type is handled correctly:

  • Full-auto weapons (like the AK) — continuous compensation through the full magazine.

  • Semi-auto weapons — one correction applied per shot.

  • Burst weapons (M16A2, Prototype, and any weapon with a Burst Module) — the 3-round burst pattern and timing between bursts is handled precisely.

It knows when to stop: compensation stops once your tracked magazine runs dry and resets automatically on reload.

It adjusts to how you're playing: strafing, hipfire vs. ADS, and your current scope or barrel attachment all scale the compensation automatically, using the real in-game multipliers for every attachment — Silencer, Muzzle Brake, Muzzle Boost, and every scope option.

You're in control too: X/Y compensation strength, smoothness, sensitivity, ADS sensitivity, FOV, and hipfire multiplier are all adjustable from the settings panel.

Automatic Weapon & Scope Detection

No manual weapon selection needed — the app watches your hotbar and detects what you're holding.

  • Detects your currently equipped weapon

  • Detects your currently attached scope or sight

  • Reads your remaining ammo count directly off the screen

  • Detects whether a Burst Module is fitted

  • Follows weapon switches made with the scroll wheel, not just hotbar keys

  • Detection sensitivity is adjustable if you ever get a false reading

Keybinds

Nearly everything can be bound to a key:

  • Force-select a weapon — instantly override auto-detection for a specific gun

  • Hotbar slot keys (1–6) for manual selection

  • Attachment keys for scopes/sights and muzzle attachments

  • Utility keys — Toggle App, Toggle Auto Clicker, Toggle Anti-AFK, Hide/Show Window, Reload detection, Reset Attachments, Crouch

The app warns you if the same key gets assigned to two actions by mistake.

On-Screen Overlays

Gun Info Overlay — a draggable readout showing your current weapon, ammo, scope, and burst status at a glance.

Custom Crosshair — an optional click-through crosshair overlay with 7 shapes, adjustable color, thickness, size, dot size/spacing, and an outline option.

Auto Clicker

Adjustable click rate with a choice of mouse button (left, middle, right), toggled with a keybind.

Hardware Mouse — Stays Undetected

Mouse movement is sent through a small external device (an ESP32 microcontroller) that relays it as genuine hardware input rather than software-driven movement. This is now central to Alphagen Rust Recoil Macro's 7-year zero-ban record. If the connection drops, it reconnects automatically.

Easy Setup & Calibration

  • Hotbar calibration — one drag over your hotbar, auto-split into 6 slots

  • Automatic settings import — FOV, sensitivity, and ADS sensitivity are pulled directly from your Rust config on first run

  • Resolution-independent — overlay and hotbar positions carry over across different monitors and resolutions

Streamer Mode

One keybind hides the entire app instantly; another brings it back — useful for recording or streaming without it visible on screen.

Account & License

Access is tied to your license key, with a "Remember Me" option for automatic sign-in. The app checks for updates automatically on startup.
