Check it yourself in 30 seconds

  1. Put a ruler or tape measure next to your mouse pad, or mark a starting line.
  2. In the new game, line your crosshair up with a sharp edge, like a door frame or a pole.
  3. Move the mouse slowly to the right until the crosshair comes back to the same edge, a full 360° turn.
  4. The distance your mouse travelled should match the cm/360° the converter shows. If it's off, check that mouse acceleration and Windows "Enhance pointer precision" are off, and that you're not aiming down sights.

How it works

Every game turns your view by a fixed number of degrees for each bit your mouse moves (its "yaw"), multiplied by your sensitivity. The converter keeps yaw × sensitivity × DPI the same in both games, so one full turn takes exactly the same hand movement. These are the values it uses:

GameDegrees per count (yaw)Where to set it
Counter-Strike 20.022Settings → Keyboard / Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity (or `sensitivity` in the console)
Valorant0.07Settings → General → Mouse → Sensitivity: Aim
Apex Legends0.022Settings → Mouse/Keyboard → Mouse Sensitivity
Rainbow Six Siege0.0057296 (at multiplier 0.02)Controls → Mouse Sensitivity, horizontal and vertical (whole numbers 1–100)
Rust0.1125Options → Controls → Sensitivity (or `input.sensitivity` in the F1 console)
Overwatch 20.0066Options → Controls → Sensitivity
Call of Duty (Black Ops 7 / BO6 / Warzone)0.0066Settings → Keyboard & Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity (hipfire)
Fortnite0.005555 per 1%Settings → Mouse & Keyboard → X-Axis Sensitivity (set Y-Axis to match)
The Finals0.001Settings → Controls → Mouse Sensitivity
Deadlock0.044Settings → Mouse / Keyboard → Mouse Sensitivity

Values are checked against KovaaK's Sensitivity Matcher presets, Ubisoft's published Siege formula, and multiple independent converter tables. Battlefield 6, PUBG, Marvel Rivals and ARC Raiders aren't listed yet because their formulas aren't settled — we'd rather leave a game out than give you a wrong number.

Rust: ADS when you change FOV

In Rust, FOV doesn't change your normal look speed, but it does change aiming down sights: ADS turns faster at a wider FOV, in step with the FOV (going from 75 to 90 makes ADS 20% faster). Scale your ADS sensitivity by old FOV ÷ new FOV to keep the same scoped feel.

New ADS sensitivity: 0.833

Your normal look sensitivity stays the same — only the aim-down-sights value changes.

Questions

How accurate is this sensitivity converter?+

It matches your exact hand movement for a full 360° turn, which is the same method aim trainers like KovaaK's use. Every game's value is checked against more than one source, and games with an unclear formula are left out rather than guessed. You can confirm any result in 30 seconds with the 360° test on this page.

What is cm/360?+

It's how far you move your mouse to turn a full circle in game. When two games have the same cm/360, your aim feels the same in both, even though the sensitivity numbers are different.

Should I change my DPI when switching games?+

No need. Keep the same DPI and change only the in-game sensitivity. If you do change DPI, tick "I'm changing DPI too" and the converter adjusts for it.

Does FOV change my sensitivity?+

Not for normal (hipfire) aim in any of these games, so the converter works at any FOV. FOV can change aiming down sights, though: in Rust, Apex and Rainbow Six Siege a wider FOV makes ADS turn faster. The Rust ADS tool on the Rust pages works out the ADS value that keeps your aim the same; in other games, set hipfire with the converter first, then fine-tune ADS in game.

Does this convert ADS or scoped sensitivity?+

It converts hipfire (normal look) sensitivity. ADS and scope settings work differently in every game, so set hipfire first, then tune ADS in game.
